Building a tiny house is such an adventure! It’s also scary and overwhelming. So many decisions need to be made. It’s difficult to prioritize when to think about each phase so that when the time comes, the decision is easy to make. For the last year, my strategy worked…

Ok so most of the time it works. Having a general idea came in handy until now. While waiting for roofing material to get delivered we started working on the interior loft. That’s when it hit me! In order to install the loft beams I had to know what stain color to use. In order to pick the stain color, I need to know the flooring, wall color, and ceiling materials. The snowball hit me cold and fast! I’ll share some of the results.

To catch you up to speed, we added the bump out over the trailer to add additional space in the bathroom. You can see how cute the interior looks with the extra lighting from side windows. I can’t wait to see the roof when it comes in.
While I may have snowballs on my mind this week. I sure doesn’t feel like it when you’re working in a tiny house in the middle of the summer. Stay tuned to see what’s next!
