Building in the Northwest is usually a race between rainy days. I was hoping to say roofing materials came and then show you amazing pictures of the final product!
Sadly, it was a no-show. I even had a dream it was delivered. I heard the truck beeping while it was backing up and everything. Only in my dream it was delivered to my current house instead of the building site. And that would be a disaster!
With every plan always have 2-3 back up plans to stay productive.
Couple of useful tips I learned:
- Use the blue square to measure distance between each row. It slides right under the bottom row and makes it easy to keep it the same.4
- Use a nail to measure between shingles. Its light in the pocket and just the right distance.
The best part of the day is when you can sit back, relax, and admire all of your hard work!
